Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there, and happy weekend to all of you! I was able to work on some projects and get some shopping done, so it’s been a very fun and productive weekend, so far.
The kids have been busy working on my present, and I can’t wait to see what they made — all DIY, of course! In addition to all of that good stuff, Hubby and the kids are planning a Mother’s Day breakfast that features some of my favorite foods, including chocolate covered strawberries and dark chocolate orange pancakes.

Isn’t that sweet? I’m glad to know that they are reading my blog and taking my advice! Personally, I’m just looking forward to spending time with the family — that’s the best part of being a mom!
