This easy peppermint mocha dessert dip is sweet, creamy, fluffy and tastes just like a peppermint mocha drink. If you’re looking for a sweet dip recipe for the holiday season, you’ll love this one!

My youngest daughter is having a gingerbread house making party in a few days, so we’ve been busy with party planning and menu planning. Actually, it should be pretty simple. The girls should be busy enough making and decorating their gingerbread houses, and I’m just serving a few simple treats and homemade hot chocolate.

It should be tons of fun for them, and after the girls load up on the sweets, they get to go work off the sugar highs at home. Nice, right?!

Anyway, one of the party dips I’m serving is this chocolate peppermint mocha dip. It’s incredibly easy to make and so delicious that it’s hard to stop dipping! And, you only need 4 ingredients to make it!

You only need 4 ingredients to make this peppermint mocha dessert dip — Jell-o pudding mix, peppermint extract, whipped topping and an iced coffee drink. My older daughter loves the Starbucks mocha frappuccino drinks, so I just used a bottle that we already had in the fridge. But, any brand will do.

All you do is whisk the pudding mix and the coffee together. Then, you add the peppermint extract and Cool Whip or any kind of whipped topping.

Once it’s all mixed together, you’re good to go. Just store the dip in your fridge, and scoop it into a serving bowl when you’re ready to serve it.

I thought the dip needed a little something extra, so I sprinkled some crushed peppermint candies on top. You could also add a drizzle of chocolate sauce if you really wanted to get fancy. You could even serve the dip without any extra toppings. It’s up to you!

What do you Serve with a Dessert Dip?

  • Graham crackers
  • Cookies
  • Marshmallows

Actually, you can serve whatever you want with this peppermint mocha dip. The kids experimented with using it as a filling between vanilla wafers, and we even used it as a topping for ice cream. Whatever works!

    Hi!

I made this and put it in the fridge for 2 hours, but it never thickened up. Do you have any ideas as to what could have gone wrong?

    Thanks.

I can’t say for sure, but it sounds like there may have been too much liquid. Did you use the large box of instant pudding?
