Greetings, my pretties!
Here are some of our outdoor Halloween decorations. Last year, we had an awesome skeleton, but with the wind and the critters that seem to come out at night around here, most of those Styrofoam bones blew away. It’s kind of awkward to be gathering random bones from the street every morning and bringing them back to your yard! We have two headstones, and so today, I created this little scary scene in the front.
I pulled some fake spiderwebs around a tree and stuck them to the graves. I also added a couple of creepy spiders, a witch’s hat and some black gloves.
This spider is huge! Originally, Hubby hung him from the dining room light fixture, which totally creeped me out! All such critters belong outside!
For the hands, I stuffed two old gloves with some dry pasta and tied each hand with a twist tie. I really wanted some boots, but I don’t have any, and my fashionistas weren’t willing to part with their treasures, even for a little while.
I put some rocks around to hold everything down, but I’m not sure how long everything will last. Here is one more shot.
Happy haunting to all, and thanks so much for visiting today!
Dee 🙂
