Previously, I showed you some of my junky treasures, and I had already started transforming two of the finds. Actually, one of the wood trays was in great shape, and I really didn’t want to change its appearance at all. I found a really neat pumpkin serving bowl, and I couldn’t wait to spruce it up a little bit. To keep it simple and frugal, I just spray painted the entire pumpkin white. This color also works well with the other white pumpkins throughout the front room. The newest white pumpkin started out looking like this.
After drying for a few hours, the pumpkin now looks like this:
There are a couple of bumps on the lid, but overall, the little white pumpkin is in terrific shape. I love how it looks in the dining room, and it fits perfectly with the other white pumpkins! It also looks nice with the wooden leaf tray that I found. I just cleaned the tray and added some decorative acorns. I love the look of the wood, and the leaf shape is perfect for fall.
I love being able to transform trash into treasure! Even though these weren’t exactly what I would call trash, I like being able to reuse cast-offs and save money on fall decorating! Anyone else find anything good lately? If you have, I would love to hear about it!
Thanks for visiting me, and have a wonderful day!
