Easy Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs

Spare ribs are rubbed with a homemade seasoning mix then slow cooked in the Crock-Pot before being finished of on the grill and slathered with honey bbq sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds pork spare ribs
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Cut the ribs into smaller pieces, mix brown sugar and spices together, and season ribs with dry rub 
  • Place ribs in slow cooker, and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours or low for 8 to 10 hours. They fall off the bone easier the longer they cook 
  • Remover from slow cooker, brush with BBQ sauce, and finish on grill over medium heat. Or, place on baking sheet and broil for about 5 minutes
