  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound smoked Polish sausage, kielbasa, sliced thin
  • 2 cups sauerkraut
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 6 slices provolone cheese, cut in half

  • Add olive oil and kielbasa to a large skillet, and cook over medium heat until kielbasa is browned
  • Move kielbasa to sides of skillet, add sauerkraut to center of pan and season with salt, pepper and brown sugar
  • Cook until sauerkraut is lightly browned, then remove from heat
  • Add kielbasa slices evenly to small slider buns, then top with sauerkraut and provolone cheese
  • Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 5 minutes or until cheese melts

Mix 1/4 cup mayo and 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, and spread over inside tops of buns before baking, if desired
Add provolone cheese directly over meat mixture in skillet if you don't want to bake the sliders, then assemble when cheese is melted
