Instant Pot Orange Ginger Carrots

Instant Pot Orange Ginger Carrots are quick and easy to make in the pressure cooker and lighter than the usual recipes for glazed carrots. It's a delicious side dish for holidays or everyday dinners!

  • 1 32-ounce bag baby carrots
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 4 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt


  • Place carrots in the pressure cooker, and pour orange juice over carrots
  • Add remaining ingredients
  • Place lid on pressure cooker, set valve to sealing position and hit PRESSURE COOK for 3 minutes
  • When time is up, hit CANCEL and do a quick release
  • When pin drops, remove lid, stir, and and place carrots in serving dish
  • Optional -- Hit SAUTE, and cook sauce for about 5 minutes or until it thickens. Pour sauce over carrots, and serve. You can also just pour the sauce over the carrots immediately after pressure cooking.
