Baked Breaded Pork Chops

This Baked Breaded Pork Chops recipe is made with Dijon, mayonnaise and seasoned panko bread crumbs. Crispy oven fried pork chops in less than 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced onions
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1.5 cups panko bread crumbs

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400
  • Add the dried onions, sea salt, garlic powder, pepper and paprika to a small bowl
  • Mix the Dijon mustard and mayo together in another small bowl
  • Add the panko bread crumbs to a shallow bowl or plate
  • add olive oil or cooking spray to a large rimmed baking sheet, and set aside. 
  • Season the pork chops on both sides lightly with the spice mixture
  • Spread a light coating of the mayo mustard mixture on both sides of the pork chops
  • Press pork chops into the panko bread crumbs, and coat both sides, then place pork chops on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle any leftover spice mixture over the chops, and discard remaining bread crumbs
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees. Optional -- broil chops after baking for about 5 minutes for a darker color
  • Remove from oven, and let rest for about 5 minutes before serving
