Cheesy BBQ Meatloaf
Cheesy BBQ Meatloaf topped with tangy barbecue sauce and lots of melted cheddar cheese is an easy, flavorful dinner the whole family loves.
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
- ½ cup dried breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add the ground beef to a large mixing bowl
In a small bowl, mix the dried onions, garlic powder, salt and pepper together, and sprinkle over beef
Add the egg, BBQ sauce, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese, and mix gently with hands until combined
Form into loaf shape and place in casserole or baking dish
Bake for 1 hour, or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees, according to meat thermometer. Add BBQ sauce to the top about halfway through cook time
Top with shredded cheddar cheese and allow to melt, then remover from oven, and serve
Use your favorite BBQ sauce here if you want. Add a tablespoon of Dijon mustard for extra flavor.
