Baked Honey Lime Chicken
Baked Honey Lime Chicken breasts with broccoli cook on one sheet pan and take less than 30 minutes to make. It's a super easy dinner recipe everyone loves!
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts thin, about 2 pounds
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 cups broccoli chopped
For the Sauce
- 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 lime juice of
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Line a sheet pan with foil over bottom and sides, and pour oil on pan
Place the chicken breasts on the pan, and season both sides with sea salt, garlic, pepper and ginger
Pour about 1/2 of the sauce mixture over the chicken, and bake for 20 minutes
Add chopped broccoli to the tray, and spoon remaining sauce evenly over chicken and broccoli
When chicken is 165 degrees, according to meat thermometer, and broccoli is crisp tender, remove from oven, and serve
Thin chicken breasts cook in about 20 to 25 minutes. If you use thicker ones, cook time may be longer. Use a meat thermometer to test doneness. You may want to slice chicken in half before baking for a shorter cook time.
You can make extra sauce to serve with chicken if desired.
