Ingredients

  • 1 8-oz cream cheese softened
  • 36 OREO cookies finally crushed (about 3 cups)
  • 3 packages candy coating melts
  • decorative holiday sprinkles if desired

Instructions

  • Mix softened cream cheese and cookie crumbs until blended
  • Shape into 48 1-inch balls
  • Freeze 10 min
  • Dip balls into melted candy coating, and place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan.
  • Decorate with seasonal sprinkles
  • Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is soft before using for best results. Allow to soften on the counter -- don't heat in microwave.
Follow the directions on package of candy coating for melting.
Use different color candy melts to make Oreo cake balls for any holiday.
