Baked Chocolate Caramel Apples

Baked Chocolate Caramel Apples are baked apples stuffed with caramel and topped with chocolate and sea salt. An easy fall dessert recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3 apples I used Granny Smith
  • 12 caramel candies
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Pinch of cinnamon if desired
  • Sea salt if desired

Instructions

  • Wash apples, cut in half, and scoop out the core.
  • Place apples in small baking dish, and fill each core with 2 caramels.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until caramel is melted and apples are soft.
  • Top with chocolate chips and cinnamon, and bake until chips are melted.
  • Remove from oven and add sea salt and vanilla ice cream, if desired.

Notes

You can bake the apples in an air fryer oven if you have one.
