  • 8 Polish sausage links
  • 2 large yellow onions peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • Mustard and ketchup for topping optional


  • In a large skillet, fry the onions in olive oil until slightly soft, and season with salt and pepper
  • Add the sausages, and fry over medium heat, stirring often, until onions are golden brown and meat is cooked through
  • Cover, turn heat to low, and keep warm until ready to eat
  • Fill buns with sausage, top with onions, and serve with mustard and ketchup
