Easy Barbecue Chicken Sliders
Grilled chicken tenders topped with a sweet and smoky barbecue sauce and served on slider buns

- 2 pounds chicken tenders
- ½ teaspoon chipotle pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon minced onions
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 lime
- 1 cup Heinz Kansas City BBQ Sauce plus more as needed
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Slider buns or small hamburger buns
Place the tenders in a large zip-top bag, and sprinkle the spices over the chicken
Add the olive oil, lime juice and lime, if desired, and refrigerate for 30 minutes
Place the tenders on a sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil on a gas grill set to medium heat
Grill for about 5 minutes on each side, or until lightly brown
Baste both sides of the chicken with the sauce, and grill until the internal temperature is at least 160 degrees
Place tenders in slider buns, and top with cheese and additional sauce, if desired
