Strawberry Spinach Salad with Bacon and Gorgonzola
A fresh and light salad of spinach leaves, strawberries and Gorgonzola crumbles topped with homemade balsamic vinaigrette

- 1 head fresh spinach washed and dried
- 4 to 5 large strawberries sliced thin
- 1 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- 2 tablespoons bacon chopped
- For the Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoons to 2 honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Arrange the spinach and sliced strawberries in separate bowls or a large bowl
Add the bacon and Gorgonzola cheese
In a separate bowl, whisk the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and honey together, and season with salt and pepper, to taste
Pour dressing over salad or serve on the side
