Campbell's Green Bean Casserole Recipe

Campbell's Green Bean Casserole is a classic holiday side dish with green beans and crispy onions in a creamy sauce. This easy recipe is a family favorite for Thanksgiving dinner!

Ingredients

  • 10.25 oz can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup
  • cup milk
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 4 cups green beans frozen, fresh or 2 cans
  • 1 ½ cups crispy fried onions
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉, and grease a 2 quart casserole dish with non stick spray
  • In a mixing bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, milk and soy sauce together
  • Stir in the green beans, ½ cup of onions and pepper, and mix until well combined
  • Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish, and smooth evenly with a spoon
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly
  • Top with remaining French fried onions, and bake for an additional 5 minute or until golden brown

Notes

If using fresh green beans, trim and blanch for about 2 minutes before using.
To make green bean casserole ahead of time, leave out the top layer of onions, and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Top with crispy onions right before baking.
