- 1 28- oz can crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups low sodium chicken stock
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ cup heavy cream
In a large pot, add the tomatoes, chicken stock, sea salt, pepper, garlic powder and basil, and cook over medium heat until warm
Stir in the basil and lemon juice, cover, and cook until hot and almost bubbling
Reduce heat to medium low, stir in the cream, and cook until warm
Top with shredded Parmesan cheese, if desires, and serve immediately
