Baked Brown Sugar Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 thick boneless pork chops ½ inch to 1 inch thick
  • 2 tsps Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp sweet paprika
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400℉, and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil
  • Spread olive oil evenly over baking sheet
  • Pat chops dry with a paper towel, and place on prepared baking sheet
  • Spread mustard over pork chops
  • Season with brown sugar mixture
  • Bake pork chops uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until internal temperature is 145℉ according to instant-read thermometer
  • Remove from oven, cover and let rest for 5 minutes before serving

Notes

Thin chops may take 15 minutes to cook. Thicker pork chops may take 20-25 minutes to cook, and thick bone-in pork chops may take 25-30 minutes to cook.
