- 1 ½ pounds raw shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- lemon juice from half a lemon
Pat prepared shrimp dry with a paper towel, and place in a mixing bowl
Add the olive oil, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and minced garlic, and stir until well coated
Heat the griddle to medium, and spread the avocado oil over the griddle surface
Place raw shrimp on the griddle, and cook for 2 minutes
flip the shrimp, and cook for another 2 minutes or until done. Shrimp should be light pink and tails should curve into a "C" shape
Add butter, then squeeze lemon juice over shrimp, and remove from griddle
Do not use pre-cooked shrimp as it will be overdone.
We like to remove the tails before cooking, but you can leave them on if you like.
Make sure frozen shrimp is fully thawed before cooking.
