Course: Salad, Side Dish
Cuisine: American
Servings: 12
Cost: $10
- 6 oz box Raspberry Jello or 2 3-oz boxes
- 2 cups boiling water
- ½ cup orange juice
- 20 oz can crushed pineapple undrained
- 14 oz can whole berry cranberry sauce
Add the jello powder to a large mixing bowl
Add the hot water, and whisk together for about 2 minutes or until gelatin is dissolved
Pour in the orange juice, and add the pineapple and cranberry sauce, and mix well
Pour mixture into serving dish, and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight or until set.
You can leave it in the bowl if you want, but the salad will set faster in a baking dish. Mine is roughly 13x9. We like to make salads like this the night before a holiday or family gathering.
You can use any red flavor of Jell-O.
Don't use fresh pineapple, as it will prevent the gelatin from setting.
