Pizza Pasta Bake with Pepperoni and Sausage
Pizza pasta bake is an easy casserole recipe with layers of pepperoni, sausage and lots of gooey cheese baked in tomato sauce. A family favorite dinner!

- 16 oz penne pasta
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsps Italian seasoning
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- pepperoni slices
Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside
Preheat oven to 375℉, and grease a 9x13 baking dish
Cook the sausage in a large pan over medium high heat until brown, breaking up as you go
Stir in the marinara sauce, garlic powder and Italian seasoning
Add the pasta to prepared baking dish
Stir in about half of the sausage mixture, then add the remaining meat mixture on top of the pasta
Top pasta with mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and pepperoni
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and casserole is heated through
When you drain the pasta, stir in a little olive oil or rinse with cold water to prevent it from sticking.
Use your favorite pizza toppings. You can use ground beef instead of sausage or leave out the meat and use only pepperoni or make a cheese pizza pasta.
