Ingredients

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350.
  • Grease a 13 X 9-inch baking pan.
  • In medium bowl, mix the cake mix, bananas, pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the mixture into the baking dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out mostly clean -- may have a few crumbs on it

Notes

If you don't like cinnamon, you can reduce the amount or leave it out.
Cake may look slightly wet on top, but toothpick inserted into center should be mostly clean. It may have some crumbs sticking, but this is normal. Don't over bake.
