- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 ½ pounds baby potatoes
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup water or beef broth
- 1 pound green beans trimmed
Spray bottom of slow cooker with non stick cooking spray
Add beef and potatoes to slow cooker
Season with soup mix, salt, pepper garlic powder, and minced garlic
Add butter and water
Cook for 3-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low, stirring occasionally
Add green beans and more butter, if desired, in the last hour or two so they don't get too soggy
You can use frozen or canned beans in place of fresh. Or, serve beans or a different veggie on the side.
If potatoes are very thick, you may want to cut them in half so they cook evenly.
