This is the easiest hot chocolate dip recipe ever. Made with just 2 ingredients - hot cocoa mix and Cool Whip - it's an easy dessert perfect for holiday parties!

- 4 oz dry hot cocoa mix 3 packets
- 1 8-oz tub Cool Whip thawed
In a large mixing bowl, add the thawed whipped topping and hot cocoa mix
Stir the mixture together using a spatula or large spoon until well combined
Cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve
Place in serving bowl, and top with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips, if desired
Serve with your favorite dippers.
Flavor will vary with different brands of hot cocoa mix.
If you are using homemade hot chocolate mix, you will need about 1/2 cup of dry mix.
Don't use an electric mixer as the whipped topping may break down and won't be as light and fluffy.
