The Easiest Strawberry Dump Cake
This easy Strawberry Dump Cake recipe uses strawberry pie filling, cake mix and butter to make one of the easiest desserts ever. You can make it even better with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

- 2 21 oz cans strawberry pie filling
- 1 15.25 oz box yellow cake mix
- 2 sticks butter thinly sliced
Preheat oven to 350℉
Grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter or non-stick spray
Spoon strawberry pie filling into the baking dish, and spread evenly with spatula.
Sprinkle dry cake mix on top of the pie filling, and spread with a spatula or knife so that it covers the filling
Place pats of butter in neat rows over cake mix
Bake in preheated oven uncovered for 45 to 50 minutes or until top is golden brown and filling is hot and bubbly

Cake may take 40 to 50 minutes depending upon individual ovens.
You can melt the butter and pour over the cake mix layer if you prefer that.
