Blackstone Popcorn

This Blackstone popcorn recipe is a quick and easy way to make popcorn on the Blackstone griddle. The perfect snack for movie night or cookouts and so much fun to watch!

Ingredients

  • cup popcorn kernels
  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil divided
  • ½ cup butter
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, add the popcorn kernels and 2 teaspoons avocado oil. Mix until the popcorn kernels are evenly coated in oil
  • Heat one side of the griddle to high heat
  • Add butter to a small foil pan, and place on griddle
  • Spread the remaining avocado oil evenly over the surface of the griddle
  • Evenly place popcorn kernels on the griddle
  • Immediately cover popcorn kernels with a cooking dome, and constantly swirl the dome around the griddle
  • Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until popping sounds slow down, and the popped corn starts to lift up the cooking dome
  • Remove dome, and immediately transfer popcorn to the unheated side of the griddle by using a spatula
  • Drizzle melted butter over the popcorn and season with salt
  • Transfer to a serving dish, and serve immediately

Notes

Make sure you swirl the cooking dome around the griddle to prevent the popcorn from burning.
