Easy Red White and Blue Dump Cake
This easy red white and blue dump cake recipe is a super simple dessert made with strawberry and blueberry pie filling and white cake mix. Perfect for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July or any patriotic holiday.

- 21 oz can strawberry pie filling
- 21 oz can blueberry pie filling
- 13.25 oz box white cake mix
- 1 cup butter thinly sliced
Preheat oven to 350℉
Grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter or nonstick spray
Alternate spooning in the strawberry and blue pie filling, creating a checkered pattern
Sprinkle the cake mix over the pie filling, and evenly spread with a rubber spatula, spoon or knife
Place thinly sliced pats of butter in neat rows over cake mix
Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes, or until top is slightly golden and filling is hot and bubbly
Remove from oven, and allow to cool slightly before serving
You can melt the butter and pour over the cake mix, but slicing it provides better coverage and fewer gaps. If you want, you can grate cold butter instead of slicing it.
Cherry pie filling and blackberry pie filling are good substitutes for strawberry and blueberry.
