- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 8 oz Cool Whip thawed
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy
Add the powdered sugar, brown sugar, molasses and spices, and mix until fully combined
Use a rubber spatula to gently fold in the Cool Whip until well blended
Refrigerate until ready to serve
Make sure the whipped topping is thawed before using. You can sub homemade whipped cream, but the consistency won't be as fluffy.
For a little more spice, add a pinch of allspice.
