- 1 6 pound spiral cut ham fully cooked, bone in
- 20 ounce can pineapple chunks or crushed
- 1 cup brown sugar
- dash ground cloves optional
Unwrap ham, remove plastic cap from cut side, and discard glaze packet if included. Place ham in slow cooker
Pour pineapple over and around the ham. Place some between slices, if desired
Sprinkle brown sugar on top of ham. Pat it down on top of ham
Place lid on top, and cook on low for 3 to 5 hours or high for 2-3 hours or until heated through and 145 degrees.
All slow cookers are different. Cook times will vary with different brands/models and the size of the ham. Larger hams may take 5-6 hours on low.
Baste ham a couple of times with juices, during cooking process, if desired, but don't do this too often.
You may need to cut some ham off of the bottom so that it fits in the crockpot. You can also cover the top with foil until it cooks down.
