Of course, I also picked up the things I needed for the wonderful dip I told you about!
Ingredients for Chipotle Ranch Dip
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon chipotle seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onions
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
If you want to tone down the heat, just add less chipotle seasoning. I love anything spicy, but 1/2 tablespoon, or less, of the seasoning will give you a milder dip.
The pizzas were easy to make and only took about 15 minutes to bake. I bought one pepperoni and one cheese, but I ended up making just the cheese since that’s what the majority voted for.
Besides, I chose the dip, and I figured that the dip was spicy enough and would be a wonderful complement to the mellower cheese pizza.
Don’t you just love that nice, thick crust? I admit I’m a sucker for a thick crust, and it’s perfect for dipping too!
I cut up a bunch of colorful veggies to serve with the chipotle dressing. Not all of my kids are exactly fans of plain, raw veggies, but they’ll happily eat them along with a tasty dip.
We cut the pizza into long strips — perfect for dunking and dipping! And the zesty chipotle flavor pairs very well with cheese pizza. Plus, the dip is thick enough so that it doesn’t run off of the food.
Pizza, dip, veggies and pie — perfect game-day munchies! My family gobbled the food up in no time.
As always, thanks so much for your visit!
