I can’t say enough good things about this slow cooker pork tenderloin recipe. It’s so incredibly easy to make and has such a wonderful flavor. You just add everything to your slow cooker and in a couple of hours, dinner is ready.

Pork can be tricky, but slow cooking keeps the meat nice and tender, and the simple mix of garlic, butter, herbs and spices adds incredible flavor. I’ve made this easy recipe a few times already this month, and my family just gobbles it up. We love this crockpot pork tenderloin as a weeknight meal, and it’s also great for lazy Sundays. For a quicker version, you can bake it in the oven.

Ingredient Notes

Here’s everything you need for this easy meal. Full amounts are in the printable recipe card below.

  • Unseasoned boneless pork tenderloin — Usually comes in a package of 2. Don’t get a pork loin roast by mistake, as that is a completely different cut of meat and takes longer to cook.
  • Beef broth — either low sodium or regular
  • Garlic — I use fresh, but you can buy a jar of minced if that is easier
  • Butter — I use salted butter, but unsalted is fine
  • Spices — sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, ground pepper and dried parsley

How to Make Crock Pot Pork Tenderloin

First, remove extra fat and any silver skin. Then, place the pork in the crock pot, pour in the broth, and add the seasonings, minced garlic and butter. Cook for 1-2 hours on high or 2-3 hours on low. Pork is done at 145, according to the USDA, but you can cook it a little longer if you prefer it done more.

Serving Suggestions

We love to serve the pork with mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes and green beans, broccoli or peas. A side of homemade sourdough makes it even better!

Recipe Tips

Check the pork after one hour if you’re cooking on high or two hours if cooking on low. It cooks fast, and you don’t want to over cook the meat. Total cooking time will vary with different sizes and brands of slow cookers.

I like to slice up the tenderloins and let the meat sit in the delicious sauce on warm for maximum flavor.

Storage and Freezing

Store leftover pork in an airtight container in your refrigerator for 3-4 days. You can freeze leftovers up to 3 months for best taste or make soup from the leftover meat and juices.
