The recipe for the perfect Mother’s Day includes simple joys, simple food and a glass of Butter Chardonnay from JaM Cellars!

When I was growing up, we always chose to celebrate Mother’s Day in a big way. We’d take Mom out for breakfast, butter her up with amazing presents and take her out for dinner. She loved it, but since there were only two kids in the family, it was doable.

I’m a mom of 5 kids, and we do things a lot differently. We actually tried the big celebration when my first was a baby, but when the others started coming along, things definitely changed! After all, it’s hard to relax and enjoy eating out when you’re trying to look after a bunch of rambunctious young kiddos.

So, we completely changed our strategy, and now we keep Mother’s Day super simple. It’s still a celebration, but it’s low key and and way more relaxing for me.

Recipe for the Perfect Mother’s Day

  • Have your family serve you Chocolate Orange Pancakes in bed. It might be messy, but it’s so worth it!
  • Spend the day with your family doing things you enjoy. Go see a movie together, go to the park, go hiking or get a mani/pedi, even if it’s done by your kids!
  • Enjoy a simple, quick and easy dinner, like this Sheet Pan Lemon Herb Chicken. Even the clean-up is easy!

  • Relax with a glass of Butter chardonnay from JaM Cellars.

Butter is crafted in the tradition of great California winemaking. It’s rich, bold and luscious and the best Chardonnay for under $20! It’s the perfect wine for everyday but has a melt-in-your mouth flavor that’s special enough for holidays like Mother’s Day.

So, enjoy a glass with dinner or with fresh fruit or even a more decadent dessert, because everything’s Better with Butter! But don’t just take my word for it — Try it yourself.
