Crock Pot Teriyaki Beef

If you’re looking for easy recipes for dinner, it doesn’t get much easier than slow cooker beef teriyaki. Tender chunks of beef simmered in a delicious sauce with fresh veggies added. Yum. My whole family loves it!

The best part is you simply add everything to your slow cooker, and dinner is ready in in a few hours. I love to make this easy dinner on weeknights and weekends — especially if we’ve got a lot going on. Serve it over jasmine rice for a complete meal with very little prep!

Ingredient Notes

Here’s what you need to make it. Full amounts are in the printable recipe card below.

  • Beef — Stew meat is ideal for this recipe, as it is already cut and trimmed.
  • Bottle of teriyaki sauce — I love Trader Joe’s Soyaki, as I find it doesn’t taste as salty, but any brand will do. Soy Vey is a similar brand. While you can use homemade teriyaki sauce, we’re taking the easy way out, and bottled sauce is your friend!
  • Fresh broccoli — You can buy it already cut in the produce section or use frozen broccoli to save time.
  • Optional — cornstarch and water to make a slurry if you want to thicken the sauce.

How to Make Slow Cooker Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli

Just add the beef to your crockpot, and pour on the sauce. Let the meat cook, and add the broccoli about an hour before you’re ready to eat. I like to make a cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce, but you can skip this if you want. Spoon over rice or noodles, garnish with chopped green onions, if you like, and enjoy!

Recipe Tip

My Crock Pot cooks very fast — times will vary with different slow cookers.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in your refrigerator for 3-4 days. Freeze leftovers in a freezer safe container for up to 3 months. You can easily reheat this in a microwave or on the stove.

My husband bought stew meat because it was on sale, despite it being August, so I looked for an alternative recipe and found this one. It was super easy and the end resort was delicious! I had it over rice and plan to enjoy many leftovers!5 stars
