Spicy Habanero Beef Sliders are topped with pineapple slices, cheddar cheese and a creamy hot sauce for extra flavor.  These quick and easy handheld appetizers are perfect for parties, game day or dinner on the go, and they take just 20 minutes to make!

I adore sliders, and we have them almost every week during football season. Of course, they work for basketball season or any time, actually. They're easy to munch on while watching the game, and you can make a bunch at one time, so they're perfect for feeding a crowd.

Buffalo sauce is usually my go-to spicy sauce for sliders, but I wanted something different, with a little more heat this time. So, I used Moore's Marinades Spicy Habanero Sauce for these ground beef sliders. Any brand of habanero sauce will work!

How to Make Habanero Beef Sliders

Whenever I make hamburgers or ground beef sliders, I usually keep the seasonings simple. You want the beef flavor to come through. But, I did add a little of the habanero sauce to the meat instead of the usual water for an extra kick.

You could grill these sliders, but since they're small, I prefer baking them. They're done in 20 minutes, and you don't have to worry about the weather not cooperating!

For even more flavor, I also whipped up an easy creamy sauce to top the sliders. I just mixed a little mayo with the habanero sauce, and when the sliders were done, I spooned a little sauce on each one.

Then, for a little sweetness, I added pineapple slices on the top. You get some sweetness with the spice, and the combo is just amazing.

    How Spicy is Habanero Sauce?

These habanero sliders are definitely spicy, but they won't set your mouth on fire. If you want more heat, you can pour the sauce, as is, directly on your sliders. And if you don't like the heat, you can leave the sauce off. It's totally up to you!
