Hi There!

My daughter surprised me with an early Mother’s Day present, and of course, I just had to show everyone! If you’ve been following this blog, you know how much my daughter loves her Rainbow Loom and how I’m encouraging her to make more than bracelets. Not that I don’t love her bracelets, but you can only have so many! Anyway, she couldn’t wait until Mother’s Day, and she gave me this chic loom band phone case.

She looked online and found a pattern for an iPhone 5 case. Mine is actually an iPhone 5C, so it’s a little bit different. I’ve had the hardest time finding an inexpensive case for my phone, so I was using the phone without a case. I know that’s not a good thing, and I was always worried about dropping it. This loom band case not only looks adorable, but it also really cushions my phone. And, it’s nice and bright, which makes it easy to find in my cave purse!

It has openings for the camera and charger, and my daughter offered to make a little loom band charm to hang from the loop at the top. This girl is driven!

If you have another iPhone 5, the case probably won’t cover as much of the the screen as mine does. My little crafter is going to work on a new pattern to fit the phone better, but I really like it this way, and I can talk and text without any problem!

So, if your kids love making things with loom bands, see if you can get them to make you a new phone case. My daughter would probably make one for every day of the week if she had the time. But, with summer right around the corner, maybe she’ll do this too!

Thanks so much for visiting me. Enjoy your day, and I hope you come back soon!
