Hello to all!! The fall bins are out! The temps are supposed to “dip” down into the high 80’s, and that means it’s time to start decorating for Fall around here. Mr. Melodrama was kind enough to drag the fall bins out for me so that I could peruse the contents and begin thinking about how I want the fall decor to look. Since it’s only our second year in this house, I don’t have a set layout, so it will take me a couple of days to get the look I want. Actually, I usually move the arrangements around several times. Does anyone else do this?
After picking up the oldest kiddos from band practice, we stopped by Ross, and I picked up this cute table runner, which will go perfectly in the dining room. Now, I have to think of an arrangement to go on top of it. I usually have candles on the table, but upon closer inspection, there are some serious dents in the tops, courtesy of my little table setters–not the sort of stuff to show off in Blogland.
My littlest man loves Halloween, and he scooped this trio of happy jack-o’-lanterns out of the Halloween bin. Over the years, I’ve learned it’s best to let the kiddos help decorate for fall and other seasons and then perfect their arrangements when they aren’t looking!
I can’t wait to dig through the scarecrows, garlands and other goodies and begin decorating for fall!
