Maple Brown Sugar Overnight Oats make a delicious, easy grab and go breakfast that’s perfect for fall. Add some banana slices for extra flavor!
The kids have been back in school for a few weeks now, and mornings are still crazier than ever. Even though we try to prepare as much as possible the night before, someone almost always forgets something, and we’re scrambling to get out the door in time to beat the traffic rush.
Believe it or not, I’ve had to run back to school twice, yes twice, already to deliver lunch, water bottles and who knows what else! One kiddo even forgot lunch on the first day — sigh. Lucky for them, we live close!
Anyway, having a ready-to-eat, grab-and-go breakfast makes our crazy mornings so much easier. If your kids are anything like mine, you know what I mean! My youngest daughter is big on overnight oats right now, and these easy maple brown sugar overnight oats happen to be her latest creation. They’re perfect for fall, folks!

All of the make ahead breakfast recipes I’ve listed are easy, but seriously, it doesn’t get any easier than overnight oats. There’s no baking or cooking involved — Just mix, refrigerate, and eat!
And if you like your breakfasts on the sweet side, you’ll love these brown sugar and maple flavored oats! Just like the name, they’re sweetened with plenty of maple syrup and brown sugar. I also added some banana slices and a drizzle of maple syrup over the top for even more flavor.
You can add the bananas right before serving, or you can add them in before you refrigerate the oats. They don’t turn brown, so don’t worry about that! And if you don’t like bananas, add some diced apples or raisins, instead. Or, just eat the oats as is — nothing wrong with that at all!

Hi loved the recipe as I found it so easy.
I have a question – is using milk and yogurt together affect our stomach?
We’ve never had any trouble. Glad you liked the recipe!
