If you're looking for an easy pork chop recipe, you'll love these slow cooker ranch pork chops.

This easy dinner is a great recipe for a busy weeknight as it comes together quickly with just a few minutes of prep time and makes the most delicious fork-tender pork chops in just a few hours.

My grandma's Polish breaded pork chops and my baked breaded pork chops are family favorites. But these easy crock pot pork chops are a family favorite too. Even my picky eaters approve!

    Ingredients

You only need 4 ingredients for this crock pot ranch pork chops recipe. Look for them in your grocery store or online.

    • Bone-in pork chops -- Look for thick cut chops ½ inch to 1 inch thick for best results. This recipe works well for 4 to 6 chops.
    • Cream of chicken soup - for the gravy
    • Cream of celery soup
    • Ranch dressing mix -- Look for the packet of ranch dressing, like Hidden Valley, not the bottle

How to Make Crock Pot Ranch Pork Chops

First, mix the ranch dressing mix and cream soups in a small bowl until well combined.

I have tried adding dressing mix and soups directly to the slow cooker without mixing, but the dressing mix tends to clump up. It works better this way.

mix cream soups and ranch dressing mix in bowl

Next, spray the slow cooker with non stick spray. Then, place pork chops in bottom of the crock pot.

If they don't all fit in a single layer, you can place 1 or 2 chops on top of each other.

Then, spread the soup mixture evenly on top of the pork chops. If you're using more than 4 chops in layers, make sure to spread the soup mix on all of them.

    Cook Time

Place the lid on the crock pot, and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or high for 2 to 4 hours. I highly recommend cooking pork chops on low for best results!

Total cooking time varies with different brands of slow cookers and how thick your pork chops are. If they are over 145 degrees f, according to a meat thermometer, they're done.

My new Crock Pot cooks fast, even on the low setting, and thick pork chops are perfectly cooked at 5 hours on low.

    How to Serve

Wondering what to serve with these creamy slow cooker pork chops?

Serve with Instant Pot mashed potatoes or jasmine rice and steamed broccoli or green beans. Or use your favorite easy side dish for an easy meal.

Be sure to pour plenty of the delicious gravy over the creamy ranch pork chops for a warm and comforting meal!

    How to Store and Reheat

Refrigerate leftover pork chops in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Reheat them in your microwave until steaming.

Freeze leftovers in freezer safe containers for up to 3 months. They reheat well!

    Variations

You can make crockpot pork chops with boneless pork chops. Just make sure they are at least ½ inch thick for best results.

Use a can of cream of mushroom soup or your favorite condensed soup here. 2 cans work best.

Add ¼ teaspoon of paprika or smoked paprika or onion powder or garlic powder for extra flavor. Add salt and pepper, to taste.

You can use boneless skinless chicken breasts if you don't like pork.

    FAQ

Can I put raw pork in a slow cooker?

Yes! It's safe to cook raw pork in the slow cooker. Use fresh pork, and make sure the internal temperature is at least 145 degrees f.

Do you need to sear pork before slow cooking?

It's not necessary. While searing adds flavor, these pork chops are well seasoned and have plenty of flavor after being cooked low and slow.
